我想於2010年8月15日在美國好莱坞舉辦已故丈夫淺井的紀念活動。
5月17日在瑞士擧行的I.J.K.A.

International Japan Martial arts Karatedokai Asai-ryu
Tetsuhiko Asai established the NPO Japan Karate Shoto Federation (J.K.S) in 2000 and the International Japan Martial Arts Karatedokai Asai-ryu, (I.J.K.A). I.J.K.A was for all style of Karate, and incorporates techniques of all types of martial arts and Bujutsu, to develop new Karate techniques and Kata that do not conform to any style of Karate.
This website will only display content from Asai Shihan’s personal organization, International Japan Martial arts Karatedokai Asai-ryu, (I.J.K.A.)

Message from Keiko Asai
March 8th, 2010 is the relaunch of the International Japan Martial Arts Karatedokai Asai-ryu (I.J.K.A.) and the continuation of the vision of the late Tetsuhiko Asai who left this world only halfway to fulfilling his dream.

Asai Shuseki Shihan devoted all his time, mind and energy into developing unconventional karate: training himself and sharing the techniques with countless people who loved karate from around the world.

He used to mutter to himself that: "I know they are actually gentle people…" as if to say he also wanted to work more on training their Kokoro, their heart.
He also used to say that: "the first principle from Gojo Kun (the Five Principle of Karatedo) says to perfect your character, but what should come before that is to develop your character." What he wanted to say was that we relax our bodies to create sharp techniques but also at the same time we need to relax our Kokoro. To me, what that is all about is 'love.'

There are many forms of love: between parents and children, husband and wife, teacher and student, brothers and sisters, friends, neighbors, and many more. If we can bring together karate with love, there will be no rivalry outside of training, and the gentle heart we all have within will resurface with this union.

The technical side of I.J.K.A. will be lead by Chen Hontsung Sensei, who has been supporting Asai Karate for close to fifty years and has a deep understanding of Asai Karate. He will be training with the former pupils of Asai Shihan, all of whom have over 20 years of apprenticeship.

About the training of the heart - I hope that each branch dojo head or country head will have enough fatherly/brotherly love to harness an environment where everyone can encourage and support each other, and advance karatedo. Then I am sure the flower of karate love will bloom in everyone's heart. This, I believe the achievement of Shingi Ittai, the union of mind and body, and the ideal karate.

With the slogan "Develop your character" I.J.K.A. is established on this objective and to wish happiness to the karate family around the world. We hope to see our members spread the seeds of happiness like a dandelion.

We welcome whole-heartedly into I.J.K.A anyone who can share our beliefs.

I.J.K.A. ARE NOT A NEWLY FORMED
We, I.J.K.A., are not a newly formed group but an organization established 20 years ago by my late husband, Tetsuhiko Asai, based on his ideals. After he passed away, I went through the legal process to inherit the organization, and also to incorporate it.

Asai Shuseki Shihan's pupils from around the world are now coming back to register in the organization, and forming a new Asai Karate.

I.J.K.A. in Europe, including UK is different from our I.J.K.A. the instructor of I.J.K.A..UK. was learning Asai karate under Asai Shuseki Shihan, and may have acted as his assistant in Europe. However for the last few years before the Shuseki Shihan passed away there was no communication with him.
Now that the Shuseki Shihan is gone, it appears that he is positioning as the Shuseki Shihan of I.J.K.A., but he has not contacted me and is working independently.

We would like to clarify that he is not affiliated with I.J.K.A or Asai Karate.
